You’ve looked at the timetable. You’ve thought about joining. Then the doubts start.

What if I can’t keep up? What if everyone knows what they’re doing? What if I’m the only beginner?

If that sounds like you, my darling, you don’t have to have it all figured out before you come in.

I’m Souad, and at Female Personal Trainer, our women-only gym in West London, we’re here to guide you. You can start from where you are today.

You don’t need to get fit before joining

You don’t need to lose weight first. You don’t need a new outfit or experience with weights. Whether you’re completely new to exercise or coming back after a long break, you’re welcome.

Tell us you’re a beginner. Ask questions. If an exercise feels unfamiliar, ask us to show you again. That is what your trainer is there for.

A women-only space where you can feel comfortable

For some women, choosing a gym is about more than equipment. It’s about finding somewhere they feel comfortable enough to turn up.

Female PT is a women-only, hijab-friendly space. You can focus on your session with other women, with coaching to help you understand what you’re doing.

What happens at your first session?

Come a little early so you have time to meet your trainer and settle in. Let us know about any injuries, concerns or exercises you’re unsure about before you start.

Your trainer will explain the session and demonstrate the movements. We can adjust exercises and weights to suit your starting point. You don’t have to match the woman beside you.

Your first session is a chance to get familiar with the space, learn and take that first step. It doesn’t have to be perfect.

Which training option should you choose?

  • Bootcamp: coached group sessions if you enjoy training alongside other women.
  • Small Group Personal Training: personal training in a small group, with more individual attention.
  • One-to-one personal training: dedicated time with a trainer, focused on you.

If you’re unsure, get in touch before signing up. We can talk through what you’re looking for and help you choose.

What should you bring?

Wear comfortable clothes you can move in and trainers. Bring water, and make sure you’ve booked your session beforehand.

And please bring your questions. You never need to pretend you know what you’re doing.

Let’s take the first step together

If you’ve been waiting to feel confident before you start, let us help you get started.

View our training options and sign up here, or message @female_pt on Instagram if you’d like to talk to us first.

I look forward to welcoming you, my darling. 💕
